BURLY for the BETTER

BURLY Needs Your Help, Castle Rock!

BURLY Brewing in partnership with Douglas Elbert Task Force is announcing a food and toiletries drive to benefit the needy right here in Castle Rock today through November 30th. It’s a heavy burden that we all share in every community we live and work in as humans. No matter what you do for a living or where you do it, there are plenty of people around you that need a helping hand. Maybe they’re not homeless, yet, but every little scrap can either make or a break some of the more vulnerable among us.

BURLY is looking to acquire nonperishable food items as well as toiletries so that they can be handed off to the good people over at The Help & Hope Center of Castle Rock. They are joined with Douglas Elbert Task Force to better supply the community with a backstop to fend off homelessness and despair. It is their efforts that will get these much-needed items to those that are in need.

Nonperishable food donations are always useful and will absolutely be accepted, but at this moment in time, there are more requests for hygiene products like toothpaste, shampoo, baby wipes, etc. We’re asking that donations be made at the brewery during normal business hours.

Here is a definitive list of items that we are looking to have donated. Any help you can lend in this effort is appreciated to the Nth degree:

Toiletries such as Toothpaste/Toothbrush, Shampoo/Conditioner, Soap, Body Wash, Deodorant, Feminine Hygiene Products, Diapers (esp. 3,4,5,6), Baby Wipes, Laundry Pods, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Kleenex, Dish Soap

Nonperishable Food such as Canned Soups, Granola Bars, Canned Vegetables, Rice,Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Peanut Butter, Jam, Coffee, Tea, Canned Meats, Jerky, Ravioli, Canned Beans, Chili with Meat, Canned Fruit, Cereal, Boxed Pasta/Rice Meals,Juice and Juice Boxes

Do some good for the community all while drinking some local craft beer at BURLY!
